What it produces
- An RFQ raised from a requisition or for any material, with the required date and the quote deadline
- Every quote compared: landed unit cost (price + freight + duty), lead time against the required date, MOQ, validity
- Against the last price paid and against each other, with the supplier's OTIF, rejects, risk band and contract beside it
- The lowest feasible landed cost named as the recommendation — never awarded automatically
- The award as a named person's act with the reason, audited, raising the draft purchase order in one step

Why it is hard
The part that is not a report.
A buyer compares three quotes in a spreadsheet, picks one, and the reason is gone by the next audit. This holds the RFQ and the quotes, does the arithmetic — price plus freight plus duty, lead time against the date the plant needs it, the last price paid — puts the supplier's delivery and quality record beside each, and records the award as a person's act with its reason.
Opened by the procurement lead, the supply chain manager and the planner — what each of them sees first.
Said before you ask
What is not finished.
Quotes are recorded as received (imported or typed), and the comparison is arithmetic over them; no rate between currencies is assumed, so mixed-currency events compare within each currency only. Sending the RFQ to suppliers and a supplier portal are not in this release.
